The Person Who Runs the Show

Shaista is a designer by nature and an entrepreneur by passion, currently dwelling in Saudi Arabia with her husband, son, and two fur babies. She is the Creative Head at Shaista Jewelry, and every piece created to date is her brainchild.

Shaista has a Foundation degree in Arts. After that, she had to move to Canada, where she completed her Software Programming degree and pursued her career in the same field for a few years. With her quest for creativity, Shaista explored other art mediums over the years, like weaving, silk painting, and pottery, then finally indulged herself in jewelry designing.

Shaista loves backpacking around the world in fact, all the stones and pearls used are procured and hand-picked by Shaista from antique stores, ethnic bazaars, and galleries around the globe. Always ready to explore new places and to look out for exciting experiences, Shaista also carries a notebook on her sleeves and never misses a chance to sketch away whenever inspiration knocks at her door. She takes inspiration from everything around her, and a lot of her designs come from her own mood and personality!

How it all started?

The Inception and success

Shaista started her own self-titled brand of Freshwater Pearl jewelry in early 2016 and never looked back. She single-handedly managed this venture for a long time, and it is now scaling rapidly. A lot of hard work, trial and error, sweat, blood, and sleepless nights have gone into making this brand successful.

Shaista has developed her signature style by incorporating bold designs and shapes in her jewelry designs. From the skyscrapers of New York to the hand-crafted teacups from Marrakesh, from skyscrapers, Shaista's exciting world of jewelry draws inspiration from anything that strikes her fancy. That's why Shaista Jewelry designs are unique with an eccentric flavor, which you will not find anywhere else.

The Process of creating finest Pearl jewelry

With Shaista residing in Saudi Arabia and Shaista Jewelry HQ in Karachi, Pakistan, management and quality control are not easy, but they are not compromised at any cost.

Precious, semi-precious stones and Freshwater Pearls used in our jewelry are 100% original. We use a 925 Sterling Silver and mix metals (brass and copper) base for our jewelry with 21K Gold and Rhodium plating. Each item has clear product descriptions mentioned to maintain transparency and stay truthful to our customers.

We support our local craftsmen and take pride in our jewelry being Made in Pakistan.
